Harry Potter

This weekend Trish and I went to see the new Harry Potter movie. 

Now, I am not a Harry Potter devotee, but I have read a couple of the books.  Not enough to know what was happening, so Trish had to explain what was going on a few times. 

I really enjoyed the movie, and not just because I went with Trish.  I was surprised how much I recognized and understood from what I had read and watched. 

If you are looking for something to do and have a couple of hours to kill, this was a lot of fun.

Firefighter Museum

We went to the Firefighter's Museum in Tooele, Utah. Tooele is just west of Salt Lake city, almost a bedroom community. This is a mountain just outside of Brigham City on the way down to Tooele.

There are lots and lots of fire engines from over the years. All of the engines have a connection to Utah in some way. The museum is in the Larry Miller complex between Tooele and Grantsville. Just drive around the entrance booth to the west.

I do not remember what engines were what years. These are just some that I enjoyed.
